Michael Paxton
Meet Mike Paxton, founder of Q2 Interactive Media. Colorado Springs is where he lives and works, building and managing premier websites for clients. But he's much more than a website developer. He brings a wide range of experience to each project, gained from a diverse business background.
His experience includes sales (as regional sales manager for Rentals.com), marketing, accounting, business development and strategic partnerships (as president and co-founder of Fix A Phone), and business planning (as Director of Operations for Borden Capital LLC).
While he was building his skill set in all these areas, Mike also started building websites and soon discovered he had a real knack for it - even in 2000 when he was using nothing but basic HTML. As new software became available - like PHP - he added those to his web-developer's toolkit. The next thing he knew, he was building sophisticated databases in MySQL and running hosting servers using APACHE and LINUX.
Knowing he had a talent and passion for building websites, Mike founded Q2 Interactive Media in 2001. From hosting and e-commerce to advanced dynamic-driven experiences, he developed the tools and experience to help clients get to the next level with website and e-Commerce solutions. And by keeping his company's overhead low, he was able to provide these services at a fraction of the price charged by larger website developers.
